We are excited to share an update on the progress UCalgary Racing has made over the past month.
We successfully held our kickoff event, bringing the team together to set the tone for the year ahead. Recruitment was strong as we welcomed a great group of new members, with nearly five new recruits joining each of our subteams!
In addition, we completed our first round of design reviews. These sessions provided valuable opportunities for cross-team collaboration and helped confirm that our projects remain on track as we gear up to UCR-04.
Being chosen as the Schulich club to highlight at UofC’s open house was an amazing opportunity to connect with future students and displaying the ways they can become more integrated with the school community and automotive world through our team.
Currently, our sub teams are onboarding new members into active projects. This brings fresh perspectives to the work while preparing our members for real hands on scenarios in the workplace.
We are looking forward to a strong rest of the semester as we prepare for UCR-04!
